Shellac - The End Of Radio (Peel Sessions)

The two Shellac Peel Sessions are finally (and officially) out on on the same records (on Touch And Go of course).

4 songs from 1994 and 8 songs from 2004, so 10 years and the death of John Peel between the two recordings...

I dig more the 94 songs, less talks, more energy, but honestly it is all very good.

Ian MacKaye got a new band!

Ian MacKaye got a new band with his wife (Amy Farina who is the second part of The Evens) and Joe Lally (who made some great solo albums on top of being the allmighty bassist of Fugazi).

It is called Coriky and it is probably my new favorite band.

And they played (for free of course) to the 5th anniversary of the DC punk archives:
