Let's start 2020 with Overwhelmed, a band from Glasgow,
Scotland.
Describing themselves as a queer punk band, these four boys and
girls
also play (or played) in a lot of other local bands.
Eilidh McMillan, the singer, is also singing in
Rapid Tan
(a nice arty punky pop band), plays drums in
Bauhaus Girls
and has released a few pop songs under the name Jealous Girlfriend.

The others are also involved in bands like Gimp World or
Public Service.
Yes these guys are involved.

But let's come back to Overwhelmed, their
february 2019 demo
tape did not pass
unnoticed. Some straight forward angry feminist punk, it does definitly fit
with the soundtrack of our era.
Oh and the vocals are great, something between Patsy and
Eve Libertine, I love it.

Who Rules The World, their first 7'', is already digitally available and will be
released in March 2020 on Vinyl on
Kids Of The Lughole. 4 new songs with the same recipe as on the demo, a bit heavier and
angrier maybe, which is for the better.
A very good first 7'', I hope to hear more from them before the end of
2020.
