Glib

Glib is a dark and angry punk band from Cardiff, UK, with ex-members of Peril and WaLL.

Like a younger mix between Bad Breeding and Scrap Brain these young boys and girls, 

jump from heavy and dark parts to fast and desperate harcore bursts.  

 

With a 5-tracks demo tape released in March 2019, Glib was already expressing all this

negativity and despair which is, in my opinion, the sound of the modern hardcore punk scene, and everybody was excited to see what was coming next.

 With Smear Campaign released early January we can see that it's not getting 

any happier or more positive. With these 6 tracks of angry punk, Gilb keeps the vibe

 of the demo but with a better recording and a more complex song writing;

more breaks and diversity in the rythm, the band wants to do it right and

 it's a success! It makes it all very very efficient and you never get bored for a second.

A great release for the beginning of this year.
