Maximum Roach

Maximum Roach is a new punk band from Arizona.

These 4 guys play some dark and noisy punk hardcore with a lot of distorted, highly deranged and nasty slower parts and a few great names of freak punk/hardcore bands immediatly come to mind like Acrylics, Nasti but also Glib or Bad Breeding.

They released a 9-track tape in January and yes you guessed right... I absolutly love it!

It's super dark, full of anger, despair and screams... the late Black Flag influence is clearly there but without the super heavyness.

In my opinion it may be the best release since the beginning of the year and will probably be in the End of the Year Top of a lot of people.
